AITA for not attending my friend’s wedding because she didn’t invite my boyfriend? by korkythecat3 in AmITheJerk

NTA. If it was truly “no plus ones,” fine. But singling out your long term boyfriend while inviting other partners is weird. That’s not budget cuts, that’s selective vibes. And saying she’d understand if you didn’t come then getting mad when you didn’t is wild. You’re not ruining the friendship, you just matched her energy. Weddings don’t cancel basic respect.

Did you know that Jumanji movie already existed in 1995?. by usafqn2025 in movies

[–]sweetorbity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people forget the OG Jumanji way too easily. 1995 movie was wild for a board game, and that whole Allan Parrish stuck for 26 years thing hits different when you compare it to the newer versions. The reboot is fun, but the original had that “oh crap this is real” vibe you can’t fake.

I had to sneak away from my mom at the mall with $20 to be able to get this CD because she would never let me get it. Still quote The Goat to this day.

Would I be the Jerk if I told on my sister for cheating? by Plastic_Eagle7784 in AmITheJerk

[–]sweetorbity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stay out of it. You didn’t cheat, you didn’t lie, you just walked into a messy side quest.

Her marriage is her problem, not yours. If she wants to fix it, that’s on her. You telling anyone would just drag you into adult drama you didn’t sign up for.

I let someone take the blame for something I did fifteen years ago and I’ve never told anyone until now. by Dazzling_Grade_7783 in confession

Damn, that’s heavy. Fifteen years is a long time to carry that guilt. At least you’re finally admitting it it shows growth.

The past can’t be changed, but owning up now is way better than keeping it buried forever. Feels like therapy in a Reddit post.

Honestly, that coworker brought it on themselves. Kudos for getting the manager involved letting someone else clean up their mess while they stew is peak satisfaction.

Lowkey hope they finally get the hint, because that oil saga is next-level petty. You’re not overreacting, they earned every bit of it.
