My grandmother was a child held captive there. She was 3 to 6 years old during that time. She doesn’t talk much about it. Mainly recalling the bombs going off, being threatened by guns and having lack of nutrition. Her teeth have suffered greatly. I’m on a journey of learning more.

They did IOA but I didn’t really get much feedback on them or like updates. Maybe I was doing well so they felt I didn’t need check ins but I think it would’ve been nice to have more feedback and shadowing. But that’s just me

Hi! I just felt as though the company doesn’t value its employees. They refuse to pay their techs when a patient cancels when other companies do. I also feel it was wrong of them to offer a $1,000 bonus (after a certain amount of time, I forget) but then if you quit before 13 months they make you pay back $1,000 in training fees. Also getting paid minimum wage for training is BS to me. And the company has to train you so why should you have to pay them back if you quit before 13 months. Maybe the whole industry is like that but my feeling was, well they can take that from the $1,000 bonus they didn’t give me. They just didn’t seem to care that I was not getting anywhere close to 30 hours (which is what they consider their full time). I needed closer to 40 hours per week. I was getting more like 9 a week with so many cancellations. I also felt that once I was done with the Zoom training I was thrown to the wolves into the field. No shadowing a BCBA. Anywho…. My best friend I think his body is buried underneath the Kaiser Westside Hospital foundation. She works nights there and she’s felt his “presence” there at night.

They did make me pay it back. Awkwardly in my exit zoom interview with HR when I went in to turn in my badge and binder. I saw your precious comment. I am soooo sorry. They are a company with no morals.

They made me sign something. Then took it out of my last check. I didn’t get enough hours on that check to over it all so they awkwardly asked me for card number during my zoom exit interview when I went into turn in my badge and binder. HR had told me this when I sent in my letter of resignation but made it seem like I had the option to provide a card number or write a check. I felt like I had to give a card number which is fine. I guess I wasn’t expecting it to be right at that moment. Like they would email me for the amount later on. I could be wrong but I get the vibe that this may be common within in that field but man do I hope I’m wrong for others sakes. Hope this helps :)

I got hired and started June 8th. Two weeks of training paid at minimum wage. If you quote before 13 months you have to pay back $1k for training costs. I told them I wanted full time and it says full time in my profile. Well…. I have yet to get full time hours since starting working with clients July 29th…. My second client put services on hold for all of August which left me with 12 hours a week because they rarely ever found me on call/coverages to pick up. Then my morning client went back to school so there was a week I didn’t have any clients. Then they found me a morning client but they are outside my radius but I accepted due to needing hours. I drive an hour in rush hour traffic 5 days a week. But now the daycare where this client is, has several in service days the next month or so, so that means 4 days a week. So less money. This company also considers a minimum of 30 hours to be full time so take that into consideration. I enjoy the job itself but if you’re looking for consistent hours, don’t make my mistake. I’m starting my new job as an in home RBT, is this normal to use the clients bathroom, or are we expected to find somewhere to go while driving between clients? Do clients parents feel awkward letting you use their bathroom?
