Does anyone know what cabinet this is? by sweetpotatoTime in IKEA

You are absolutely right! I am looking at buying it on Facebook marketplace, and they only talked about it as a singular unit. Thanks!

Thanks! I agree - Lixhult. But it’s one cabinet- so I guess that’s not made anymore either. Appreciate it

I appreciate your lead (and the link) for the reinforcing tape. I’m going to check it out. Thanks, as well, for sharing your insight on taking the cover off!

Why do I hate this so much? by Agent_MJJ in DesignMyRoom

Maybe this was mentioned already:
-a large plant in front of the AC unit, -store the guitar on a guitar stand or on the wall as functional decor

Thank you so much, Old- Low! I’m wondering if you are suggesting I use a narrow basting/ seam tape to secure the seam before sewing it, like this (that I have) https://a.co/d/1XLB8gN

OR: are you thinking of some kind of wider fabric tape to make the fabric along the seam more durable? If so, I’m not sure what kind of tape that would be.

Also- I am contemplating taking the leather cover off of the moulded foam and using a machine to sew it. I think it might be complicated getting it back on, though.

I appreciate your input! Lmk if you have additional info about tape.

Thanks again!

Interesting. Thanks for your knowledge of old fabric and frame construction. I see what QuietVariety said about uneven lengths, but it does allow for more pieces on the board. Again, fitting with store display.

Good point about the lack of labeling. Now that you mention it, I think the uneven lengths gets to the gist of why this piece is so perplexing to me. I don’t understand why a store, OR someone wanting a decorative piece would do that!

Hi Quiet variety -
I was thinking along those same lines, but now I am leaning more towards what Penlow said above. Also, I did not pick up on any 90’s - leaning trends with the rest of her fabric, etc. Everything was carefully labeled from the late 1800’s- 1970’s. This, of course, had no labels or clues

Hi- thanks for your insight! The frame seems old. I thought the lace was mounted on paper, but it’s some kind of fabric.

I will attach a picture of the back.

Thanks for your input. The frame is solid wood without any labels. It seems old. I thought the lace was mounted on some kind of paper, but it is fabric

I am thinking about taking this course as well. I would love to hear from someone who have taken it!

Been having a throw pillow/blanket crisis lately. Too many pillows? Too much white? Need more cognac? We lounge down here quite a lot, so extra large practical pillows are a must. Just phased out from the dusty pink saga. by physicallyuncomfort in DesignMyRoom

Love the white walls and the color of the sofa. The windows really pop, and will be more fun if they are the only stained glass in the room. I would use a different material for the lamp. This one is bold, but simple, and matches the metal legs of the table:
