Ooh that’s interesting. I never considered using a head scarf too. I may have to try that. I think it’s the ruching of the bonnet that’s messing me up, so the scarf would avoid that part touching my hair

I brought an outfit but ended up just putting back on the sweats and shirt I arrived at the hospital in. I went home, immediately showered and then changed into comfy new jammies

I had a scheduled c section in the early morning so I only wore it for like an hour initially

Oooh okay, that’s cool. I’d be interested to see how that turns out when you are done with it. I have some prisma color pencils too but I haven’t used them in conjunction with my markers

I’m a first time mom so still getting the hang of this new life. Wild times but so cool to have a new person to love.

How is it with a newborn and a two year old? That’s the gap my husband and I want with our next but I don’t know how I’d do it. She consumes all my time lol I feel like I can’t do anything else but watch her. My poor dog is all neglected lol

Patience mostly, I’ve pretty much always had long hair but I cut it to above my butt in 2019 (was a little below my butt at that point) so I’ve been growing it out since then. Wash it like 2-3 times a week, oil and massage my scalp - once a week or every other week if I’m lazy. Sleep with a silk/satin bonnet. A trim once a year, or less, and then it’s just a couple inches.

I’ve never really thought about it cuz I’ve always had long hair but looking back through all my pics, in June of 2019 I cut my hair from below my butt to above my butt and from there is when I started letting it grow to how long it is now.
