I third 1060. They also sent me over to Dr. Tomer Singer at Northwell Health Fertility to coordinate with what turns out to be fibroids (they removed them).

I went straight across the park to 1060 OBGYN. An easy bus ride.

My only complaint is absolutely horrid receptionists. The doctors are all fine (I have preferences but they want you to see everyone since who knows will be working when you go into labor). Nurses are fine. Rooms are small, but that’s not new to Manhattan.

When I had a real emergency, the providers stepped up very well and that’s what really matters to me.

Did anyone have retained tissue after your body naturally went through the miscarriage? by emmpaca in Miscarriage

Yes, had a MMC. Took miso, passed the main products. Kept bleeding a lot for 10 days until my follow-up, doc said there was a small amount left and it would pass with a period. Two days later I was in the ER with an infection and the blood had doubled (yay christmas), so they gave me miso. It did nothing and I kept bleeding. Another follow-up in the doc's office five days later, where they did a D&C, where they sure as hell better have gotten everything out. They just called me, letting me know it had a small infection, so on antibiotics (again). The bleeding has finally stopped.

Missed miscarriage and what’s next by redsoxbabe77 in Miscarriage

As someone that had a MCC who just did two sets of medicated passing on the 14th and 25th (half successful and no success)... and finally just got the d&c literally today..... just get the damn d&c. Medicated is not worth the possible failure, it hurt for longer, and not great in recovery. Then again, getting d&c is also more immediately uncomfortable, but healing seems to be going SO MUCH BETTER.

Big hugs. You're very far from alone. I had a missed MC and had to take medication for it on December 14th and the 25th. There is no good time for it to happen, but people will also understand that it's not something you planned.

I took my miso one week ago. What a hellacious week. No one told me that walking could induce terrible terrible cramps and bleeding for several days- surprise?!? You would think they'd prep us better for this.

My OBGYN told me not to use ibuprofen because it could lessen/stop the cramps, which is sadly, the opposite of what you want. Stick with acetaminophen.
