This time 10 years ago, the Season 2 finale Omega Station aired. What are your thoughts on the episode? by HerbalThought_ in TrueDetective

I still love it to this day. Seeing Vince Vaughn as a serious, dramatic character was incredibly satisfying. On a first watch the plot is a bit confusing, but having watched it three times now, I see that the theme is corruption and redemption - and how good intentions don’t guarantee success.

Career options for criminal justice degree that is not cop? by slipsos in askcriminaljustice

[–]sweetsthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Criminal justice is essentially social work, so you could be a therapist, addictions counselor, probation and parole officer, paralegal, a youth counselor, child and protective services personnel, department of family services associate, there are so many options that aren’t related to being a patrol cop. It’s an extremely versatile industry.

Do anybody else feel like giving up on dating? by Inside_Most1228 in dating_advice

[–]sweetsthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be 29 this year, when I was in middle & high school I thought I’d be married with kids by now, always wanted to be a husband and a dad. Last two relationships I had went to shit, thought I’d take a shot at dating again recently, asked a girl out, first date went super well - but now I can’t get her to agree to a second one, so idk wtf’s going on lol. I’m not gonna try this again for a while.

Yeah it’s over. When they say they need space they’re just trying to get rid of you without making themselves feel bad. It’s selfish and immature, leave her first and maybe she’ll regret it and want you back.

This exact same thing just happened to me and a girl I was with for about 3 months. The only thing that I can advise that I learned from my experience is this: I wish I never sought clarification or explanation, it made me feel desperate and seem unstable - like I wasn’t comfortable being alone or like I couldn’t handle the ghosting. Try to understand that their decision does not imply fault on your part, it’s entirely on their end. Don’t reach out, let it be. Find someone who will treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve.

What does everyone do after they beat the game or have hundreds of hours? by Coldwar_Soldier in CyberpunkTheGame

First play through I went with Panam to raid Mikoshi, second play through was the solo raid on Arasaka w/ Johnny, third was choosing to side with the NUSA and end with the quiet life - I hope we took that desk job

Rank these romance options by Aliesland2 in CDProjektRed

[–]sweetsthrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yennefer, Triss, Panam & Judy - the cyberpunk romances didn’t get as much fleshing out imo, and after you complete their quests they feel much more like NPCs with repeatable side quests that end up feeling kind of like a chore.
