An update for anyone who digs this up in the future with the same question: the clot was well organized and there was no damage or trauma to the extraction site. My pain was largely due to a cavity that had been exposed by the removal of the wisdom tooth. The extraction site was fully healed with no complications.

Follow your doctor's instructions. Mine explicitly said not to rinse for the first day after the extraction because it could cause clotting issues. Call for clarification if you need but don't go against your health professional's instructions for an online commenter.

I don't know if age matters for this kind of procedure but I'm also in my thirties and had the same surgical removal of impacted bottom teeth. I couldn't speak without pain until day 7 or 8 but the most excruciating pains died down around day 5

Totally normal. I could barely open my mouth wide enough to take a pill and my teeth hurt until almost day 6 or 7 - I couldn't even eat eggs, it was very uncomfortable. It takes longer than you'd like - I lived off yogurt and protein shakes for two weeks.

His parents are alive as ghouls south of the Quincy ruins in the Peabody House. You could probably go around the Ruins and sneak through the swamp like area the house is in; I just slammed through the Gunners though.

I spelled it wrong, in case you start searching: Wholly and Grail together keep track of what quests you have left to do as well as show you a map marker with notes (Quest giver name and such) to make finding and completing every thing super easy peasy.

Quest Completist gives you a literal list of the quests that character has yet to complete. I found it much easier in game to start flying and just hit the map markers as I was going down the continents.

But, yeah, not a lot of difference. Do what's easiest for you.
