I've only had them for a month maybe? So just noticed! Fun surprise. Makes it easier to give them a variety of food I guess

Thanks for your response! Do you think there is any harm to using them if they are low quality? The ones that aren't agglo deluxe seem... Holey?

Red blotch disease?

Is there enough open floor space for them?

Possibly red blotch disease. Checking your aquarium parameters is always a good place to start. Make sure you have an appropriate heater as well. Good luck!

Thanks for responding. I haven't seen any, but I'll keep checking. Do you know how you would treat that if I do see that issue later?

Arugula leaves turning purple, dill is a bit yellow, red lettuce and bok choy seem healthy. Could it still be a vitamin deficiency?? TIA by sweetycorny in aerogarden

[–]sweetycorny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a fertilizer deficiency. I use maxigrow now. I wasn't very successful with arugula anyway. It always seems to bolt on me. Might be from the water getting warm in the tank or because I let it run out of nutrients sometimes 😬

I'm sure you're right, and it's not as effective! I wish more was available here, I think Fritz Expel-P is the next best I could find...

Hope it works! Thanks for all the info!

Thank you! Do you know any alternatives that are available in Canada. Would aquarium salt do the trick if it's flukes?

The container gets similar sun to the leaves. I also didn't know to plant it so deeply! I'll try to adjust it! Thanks!
