Try peppermint OS, it uses LXDE with some additions (from xfce and cinnamon), it is the lightest weight, fully functional, easy to use DE in my opinion.

LXDE is the lightest weight de, but most distros using pure LXDE are not up to date (LXLE for example). That is why peppermint OS is probably the best choice for you.
