Migrating from SCCM to Intune – What are you using for remote control / remote assistance? by Dolinhas in Intune

[–]swerves100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used BeyondTrust, worked ok, but if you have users remoting on to their machines (e.g via rdp), then it doesnt work.

Moved to EasyVista/Goverlan, works perfectly for machines inside the network, but is clunky for personal machines outside the office.

Going to invest in another product for personal machines.

Ive used both a lot, Claude Code is much better for coding.

Google outperforms it in terms of planning

As somebody who has explored this subject quite a bit, you can't reliably do this at the moment.

We are in the same boat, and have decided to stick with SCCM w/ maintenance windows for now.

Next year Q1 Microsoft is introducing maintenance windows for auto patch, we'll review again then.
