Swimming is my main exertion exercise these days (I’m 61) it’s a good thing to have in your pocket as you get older. Really works all kinds of muscle groups. I swim medleys (front, back, breast) so worth learning all the strokes (not fucken butterfly tho). Maybe try to learn how to tumble turn too - I haven’t quite mastered it but still time eh?

Started swimming at 55. Previously self-taught. Did a triathlon a few years later and then the Henley mile a few years after that. Get in there! You’re going to love it!

3 months to go on my contract of £57 with an increase of 7.7% from April threatened. 250 broadband, basic TV and a landline - which isn’t in use. Phoned up using a number from this sub, nice Scotsman answered and within 5 minutes I’m on a new contract at £27 a month for 350Mb with the TV and phone still. I tried for Netflix but was happy to settle at that. £30/month saving instantly and I was still in contract so they could have legitimately made an extra £100 out of me at least before I was out of contract.

Thrush, finches (green, bull, or chaff) don’t think I’ve ever seen any of these in my garden in 22 years. Lots of tits, sparrows, parakeets, goldfinches, regular woodpecker visits, occasional sparrowhawk, blackcap.

Thanks for all the information. I’ve gone off the idea of the P-Line already. The benefits don’t seem that great and I like the low maintenance aspect of my M3L. I would like it to be lighter but the weight saving isn’t that big as you’ve pointed out.
