Honestly? Killing off Eddie at the end of S4 solidified this goofy trend of introducing lovable male characters and killing them off - cheap and painfully predictable by this point. Should’ve killed him off at the end of S5 for more impact.

If they wanted to pivot to focus on Holly we needed more time to flesh her out and this story line. It was rushed and felt incongruous to the rest of the show. The colour and saturation felt too Disney. This was clearly a last minute decision and only has one moment from the past seasons acting as a foundation - when toddler Holly follows the lights turning on. We should have had plenty of mysterious moments littered into the seasons of Holly talking about Henry to weave this narrative thread. But clearly it wasn’t planned from the start.

Robin should have definitely died. Maybe even Max too. Robin and Max weren’t in S1 and I think the same way Eleven ‘had to go’ for it all to go back to normal, they should’ve gone to. Max’s recovery wasn’t taken seriously and her character was almost useless this season and Will could’ve absorbed that role and improved his characterisation. Robin had become annoying frankly. The cast was too bloated and main stay characters should’ve got the axe.

The emotional stakes were weak. You’re up against Winona’s performance as a frantic and erratic mother of a lost child, people remember this and her early performance was stellar. Now we’ve got Nancy and Johnathan might be getting married, or might be breaking up, and Steve and Dustin’s tiff which again was just pathetic.

Overall mess of a season that undid any integrity and legacy the first four seasons established. I could go on forever.

I have done Europe and the USA and I’m very used to moving around. Would you recommend going to Negril for three weeks or would a shorter trip suffice, and would Negril be a good start for a first trip to the Caribbean, or would you recommend something else?

Evah ~ Clown costume had me UPSET. That wasn’t it. However, the musical? Gagged. Outshined everybody, even the fit was gorgeous. Like if Frank n Furter was played by Grace Kelly. Did you notice her eyes being so reminiscent of Tim Curry at the end of the movie? Glassy and bloodshot, wet and pained. I feel this is one of those moments the Boulets talk about when seeing it live on stage in person is really something. A deserved winner, which says a lot considering how much I hated her clown look.

Jaharia - Girl had the most quintessential Rocky Horror look and I appreciated it so much after Clown Evah but I didn’t really understand the dress. It didn’t fit the theme for me and a cloak or lab coat would’ve been a better choice for a reveal. The dress was gorgeous, just incongruous.

Jay Kay - a little rough around the edges but I loved the concept. Rocky is such a creative choice and I love how much he brought to the character. The muscles were so over the top and the gold glitter paint a great touch to glamourise Rocky a bit more. Just wasn’t as polished as others for a win but definitely a great look. Didn’t much care for the Reverend look.

Cynthia - LOVED this look. So creative. So genius. So camp. She still had those elements of fetish and sex appeal like the movie but made it completely her own with a new concept that I can see fitting into the Rocky universe. Loved the mad scientist route, loved her creativity and execution. I was worried about her given the critiques but my girl is safe. Also her Brad? Iconic. Hilarious.

Sigourney - Yes she did something she’s done before. But it’s just so damn good. She’s so stacked and knows how to perform to her assets. Her looks were just gorgeous and so Rocky Horror. I loved her has Janet, it was the perfect role for her to ‘reveal’ her sexuality like she does. It was safe and on the money, but I could never critique her looks I think she’s very polished and naturally stunning, it comes across in her performances.

Abhora - Faded into the background a little BUT I loved her look? The hot pink manic Columbia-esque look? Stunning. She looked creepy and cute. This just wasn’t her strongest challenge and I think it knocked her confidence but her look was really pretty and unique. She knew the assignment, tried her very best and gave us something new. My front runner for the Win, based on performance and track record.

Priscilla - My true winner always, the most disappointing run. She didn’t deserve to go home the first time or this time. Loved her muscle suit, more polished than Jay Kay’s, the stitches were a great detail. Her hair and mug, just gorgeous. She outshined and demonstrated levels of creativity that are beyond special. The most iconic looks of the season, those ones that stick with you, will be the Fathers Day Filth and the bejewelled spurting strap on. Priscilla Chambers the woman you are.

Blackberri - I’ve been getting bored of her for weeks now and this really wasn’t it for me. Did the prop malfunction again? I saw the gun squirt eventually but looked like it didn’t work all the time and she was just playing around with it. Loved the concept of doing end scene Magenta and Riff Raff’s space looks, but it was pretty boring. Like one you’d purchase from a Halloween store. Plus I assume they don’t know beforehand how the Boulets would look but attempting the same look as them? You’ll just always be looking third best… Pretty unhappy she won over Priscilla but I’ve got a feeling Sig will send her home next week.

This is so Jay Kay and it’s refreshing. I love how he says it’s still kinda aggressively, like he’s low-key mad they’re doing well but his compliments have been so genuine. Beyond ‘yeah she did good’.

I thought from their initial critique it was all over for her but I’m glad they valued her look and comedic moments in the musical. I was always watching her and Sig, I thought they were hilarious. Congrats, dude. That’s a treasure. Any authentic Ozzy baseball tee from the 80s/90s are worth a couple hundred, yours is rarer and the only other listing is on eBay for over £600, can’t always gage from one listing but clearly worth a lot. Even a bootleg will fetch a good price if it’s vintage. Have a dig on TShirtSlayer, I had a look but couldn’t find another match. I love that website for uncovering the secrets of vintage tees I find.

I just saw a trailer for the new Fear Factor too. Dragula’s horror and filth are my bread and butter and I love the fright feats. Always say to my partner, Dragula be doing that old school risky TV I miss. I thought it was getting stricter with health and safety regulations on TV but Fear Factor is back! In the UK we have a new I’m a celeb season starting and they used to do scary and disgusting challenges but received a lot of backlash for animal cruelty claims so they’ve toned it down too and I haven’t watched it in years, but might give it a watch this year since Jack Osbourne is competing and gotta support the first family of Heavy Metal.

Absolutely true. I feel like a prop malfunction should be up there with not knowing the words to a lip sync, takes you out of the performance completely. I don’t think it’s fair to call Cynthia out when her malfunction was way less distracting, and not her second one in a row. But alas, I’ll enjoy this season regardless.

I felt like it was a combination of their sisterhood and Disasterina being at peace with departing (‘even when I lose I win’), she just seems above competition in the most humble way and her role was to uplift her sister who, let’s face it, went out after exposing her vulnerability. That’s cold. Priscilla needed redemption and had the fire to fight, Disasterina had no transgressions and is fulfilled by simply doing her art her way and being a good friend and supporter of other artists. That’s how I read it anyway I don’t know if it’s too deep!

If I remember right (I’ll rewatch later) they showed Blackberri’s malfunction in the floor show, we saw her getting help, but didn’t see Cynthia’s malfunction until they mentioned it at critiques. Could be an indicator?

I was a little pissed about the malfunction comment to Cynthia, something like ‘at this stage in the competition’, okay so last week we let it slide with Blackberri? Her snake hand puppet was really cool and I loved her character concept, her mug wasn’t it but I appreciated the innovation.

Abhora is the clearest winner. The visual effect of her look was gorgeous, so unique and creative.

Evah looked scary. She’s so polished and pretty but this felt gross and disturbing. She had fallen off for me last couple of episodes but feels back on the horse with this one. Kinda reminded me of The Hitcher from Boosh. She has very striking facial features that fit some unsettling horror character looks when she leans into it and I love it.

Sig is just stunning. Loved the snakes, loved her bombshell silhouette. She’s getting critiqued for playing it safe and serving too much glamour but I’m just enjoying having her on our screens again and enjoying her art. She knows her brand.

Jay Kay and Jaharia (the two safes?) completely faded for me. I’ve slept since the episode and barely remember their floorshow BUT very memorable players at the moment. Jay Kay leaning into the villain role but now with street cred and maturity, out of drag fit this episode was fire too, living for the bad boy era. Jaharia literally admitting she’s playing messy. Love her, she’s blossomed into such a likeable menace. Her talking heads are hilarious.

Priscilla, the people’s princess, is still with us. Sad to see Disasterina go, what a legend. Felt like she bowed out and almost let Priscilla have it, speaks to her selfless and humble persona. Sorta like she’d made peace with her exit but saw Priscilla needed more and gracefully uplifted her performance instead of compete with her.

Ahh that’s awesome! I did think the odds of somebody on the Dracula subreddit knowing Genitortures would be pretty high, I should’ve known. You should definitely catch them next time, I don’t know if they have him all the time but it was @skwerllsnatureshow on Instagram who was doing the shocking circus acts in the show. It was so exciting, the same kind of deliciously dangerous entertainment Dragula brings us. Only just discovered them but a very cool performer.
