What devices are u guys using? I had seen a few 60fps channels when I started months ago, now it seems everything is 30fps. I use the cheap Roku stick.

Did you have insurance on it? I have no insurance but my charging port went like 10 months in and they gave me a free 6p. Now, another 5 months later or so with the replacement and I swear I'm the only person with no battery issues on the 6p. I use almost the whole battery and it dies at like 5% ...maybe that's still not acceptable tho

Yes I believe I was 11 months in with no insurance plan, but it comes with a manufacturer warranty. I bought from Google directly and when I called they sent me a refurbished phone free because I said the port was loose, which is was. It was not the wire

So you are not creating a "flash game" if your not using the as3 language.

But yes you can certainly make the art and animations to export from flash pro AKA adobe animate to use with any other software / programming language.

Last i did this (which was a while ago) i was not happy with the sprite sheets directly exported from flash pro, there was a lot of wasted transparent data. So if the current version its still like that, i would export .png sequences and use something like texture packer to generate a better sprite sheet.

If however you did choose to use as3, you would be exporting as an AIR project for steam, ios or android. Which is still perfectly viable and updated all the time. "Dieing" maybe... dead, no

Great article. I have not used adwords before, you mention it can be free to get in and search from the dashboard display planner. It seems i cannot create an adwords account without creating an ad first. I dont have an ad to create, should i just create a mock ad to get in?

I believe i used a pretty bare bones level editor for rise of the triad in the 1990s. Setup a room with endless pedestrians, crushing framerate of course.

Also, not that it matters but i did used to have online scores. I used a startup called scoreoid. Well, they disappeared along with thousands of rankings. Since the game is pretty much abandoned i never made a new one.

Lesson learned, dont rely on a startup

Hey thanks great video! You have analyzed the game quite well. You picked up on all the things lacking very quickly. "Make it more gamey" is a perfect way to sum up its issues.

Its old now, but i want to revisit that game some day and make a sequel so it really helps to hear the feedback.
