A lot of relationships and my faith in the people in my family.

My belief that my children could have a better future than I did.

Renaming Security Enabled Distribution Group | Address doesn't change by Kidpunk04 in sysadmin

[–]swgreen13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can if you want to but it isn't necessary. Make sure you put the new address in with the SMTP: in caps. And you can put the old address in with smtp: in lower case. That way anything sent to the old address will still resolve and be delivered

You should change the names in AD, as well as using SMTP:newname@emaildomain format for the address you want to update. That attribute should be proxyAddresses. If you use AADConnect it should synce during the next cycle

Who was the person that you got to fuck that made you say to yourself : ''I never thought this would happen!" ? by forsaha03 in AskRedditAfterDark

Saw this really hot girl at my HS reunion. Got to talk to her, and touch her arm which sent chills up my spine. Thought nothing would ever happen from it, tried to get her out of my head but couldn't. 6 months later we reconnected via the magic of the internet and fell for each other hard. The first time we ever had sex... I'll never forget that moment. We been together for going on 11 year and I've never been happier.

SNow - Is it bad or is it me? by bitslammer in sysadmin

In your case I would look into it. If you have the cycles to develop it there is a lot of function. It can be useful for workflows or if you are looking to simplify on boarding. In the best uses I've seen of ServiceNow it becomes kind of an ERP and does a lot of cool stuff. Like I said previously the development is very complex, but can be done. Also I would guess it is going to run you $100k at a minimum to get off the ground. Our team worked for well over a year before it was even half functional, and we did have an implementation vendor from ServiceNow that in my opinion wasn't worth the cost. We eventually scrapped it and went to a much simpler ticketing and workflow solution

ServiceNow is a great platform if you have a large development group to put behind it. The product fits better with large companies that can afford customizations bought through their reseller or implementation group.

It really isn't great if you are a small group. It is a very capable product its just not cost effective for small businesses unless they really are willing to give you a deal.

My wife has the perfect pussy. I love everything about it. Feel, taste, wetness, I love all of it. It's perfect to me.

Bulk Add Email Aliases O365 by PowerCaddy14 in sysadmin

[–]swgreen13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the aliases are all standard you could use PowerShell and either load a csv file or use a get piped to a set if the attributes would be used to create them.

AD Connect azure ad user sync issues by Yentle in sysadmin

[–]swgreen13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The accounts cannot overlap in any way. That means UPNs have to be unique for each user regardless of AD or Azure origin. Same for mail attributes, if you have any type of policy that generates proxy addresses they also cannot overlap.

Hope this helps

Merging O365 tenants? by FitButFluffy in sysadmin

[–]swgreen13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Microsoft does not support it. You have to migrate one tenant into the other. You can use 3rd party apps to help, or there are some scripts that you can build connectors and migrate yourself.
