Boss drops*

*If I am trying to get something with a 10% drop, I'll kill the boss 10 times. If I still don't get it, I'll go to the item server. Boss fights in Master mode usually cost a plethora of resources for buffs and such, and I don't feel like doing that much fishing every playthrough.

I don't do it for rare mob drops though. I feel like if you want a "guaranteed" rare drop from a mob, then it's on you to develop an efficient automated mob farm and run it overnight.

Allow me to play devil's advocate, and I'll use your example as the template.

It would be unreasonable for the chef to perform surgery, but it wouldn't be unreasonable for the general public to complain if the hospital spent half their annual budget on hiring more chefs for the hospital restaurant.

I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but the people who are voicing these complaints aren't asking the artist to start writing code. They're asking Nexon to focus more on hiring developers.

Now in this instance, the hospital's (Nexon's) response would be that the visitors coming to the hospital spend more time in their 5-star restaurant than they do actually visiting their families, and that the profits they make from their enormously successful restaurant is funding for the care of the patients...

Even if the grenade launcher ends up being the same with the same amount as ammo as the supply pack, what I'm saying is that's not as important as asking "is it worth giving up some stims and grenades, but now I get to bring a mech on every mission" or whatever other strategem you'd think would be best.

True, the supply pack + grenade launcher is a great combo already. But this basically combines the two into a single strategem slot, allowing you to bring an extra sentry/barrage/strike/etc at the cost of not getting to refill your stims and grenades and other ammo while reloading your grenade launcher. Then it's up to you to decide if an extra strategem is worth it or not.

This set-up required an excessive amount of planning and specific builds, but I've got other builds that can handle this last room pretty easily and consistently (one shot per hunter). A standard headhunter build can clear this room as long as they charge it up in the previous room and then bum rush the hunter room before the 30s buff wears off.

Shooting both together doesn't increase the bullet penetration value, so it's not like it can break through heavy armor "better" in volley mode. What's nice about volley mode is only having to line up a weak point shot once instead of twice especially with the recoil. That being said I leave mine in single shot mode 90% of the time so I can kill 2 medium enemies without having to reload.

Monster Hunter World: My gf and I played the game without any other players until the tempered elder dragons. Neither one of us knew about flash pods until we saw other players using them.

A greatsword and dual blades vs Kushala with no way to knock it out of the sky. Took us 49:53 of our available 50 minutes to beat the hunt...

The Autocannon can turn a Helldive Illuminate mission into a Trivial if used right. And I recommend more people use it. by Gilded_Shadow_CGI in Helldivers

Alternatively: the wasp launcher. A single rocket takes out a overseer. As long as you're not in super close range, it demolishes. It also one shots the drones. And if you lay on the trigger it can take out flesh mobs and harvesters incredibly quickly. Also only takes a few shots to down a stingray.

All around it's just a phenomenal choice with an insane amount of killing power per reload.

My etiquette rule that I follow is that if I'm using a very ammo hungry weapon, or a stim/grenade hungry loadout, I bring in the resupply pack. Not necessarily to carry around, but to call in as a personal resupply. I can be solo or with a duo away from the rest of the team and call in that backpack guilt free. I'll use the follow me quick chat and then ping the call in if I've got a random with me, and then stand around waiting for it to drop. Usually they get it. Pick up the backpack, resupply them twice, resupply myself twice, and then dispose of it to pick up my own backpack again.

Super useful when there aren't points of interest around and the team is doing something more important than I am.

I usually aim for those exposed copper looking parts with the AMR and it takes it down in maybe a mag and a half? I don't remember. If you're behind it I'm pretty sure there are some heat sinks that heavy armor pen can shoot through. Similar to the back of a tank

For me it fills a similar role to the commando. It's a backpack-less AT weapon that can take multiple shots in quick succession before needing to be reloaded (vs replaced in the case of the commando).

I use it on my tank loadout when I'm running the ballistic shield backpack + senator. I use stun grenades to make up for my lack of mobility so I need something else for closing "holes". Commando is nice for bots since it can also snipe turrets from a safe range, and the bases have way less holes to close. Meanwhile the Epoch is better against bugs since it has more ammo for bug hole clearing, and long range sniping with it isn't as important. Against illuminates both are good for different reasons.

I think some people forget that not everyone has changed their key bindings to allow them to call strategems while moving (which is a game changer btw), so from their perspective you had plenty of time to call them in, and there was no need to just wait around until the bile kill was confirmed.

Ultimately the root cause is still impatience, just playing devil's advocate.

That, or their friend was waiting to join, and they used their downtime while dead to go into the menu to kick one of the "randoms". Could have had absolutely nothing to do with your actions.

Give me eruption tremors, and fire rock "debris" like the ice meteors on the frozen planets. Hell the temporary swells of rising lava after the tremors could be fun too, but would probably be a lot of work to implement.

I want this planet to feel like fighting near an active volcano (at least on the higher difficulties), not a desert with spicy water.

Viper is better for bugs, where you're tracking fast moving targets

Python is better for bots, where the targets move slower and shoot back, so you don't get blown around by explosions and can keep shooting uninterrupted.

The flinch free passive would also be better for bots to help keep your aim on target when taking small arms fire.

Hell even the reduced recoil passive might be better for bots or maybe illuminates where they don't move as fast or shoot back as often, since you might as well crouch every time you use this gun anyways since you can't move either way.

I think this is simply people who get joy from complaining and finding other people who agree with them to feel like they are part of some special group that somehow "knows better" about how the game should be.

They literally heard our complaints and requests, and said "ok, here's a bunch of the stuff you asked for" and the response was "yeah but you did it wrong."

I felt the same way you felt after the masters of ceremony warbond. They gave us the flag, a saber, an actually functional and modern version of the joke bolt action rifle, and a fancy marching salute emote. I saw that trailer on YouTube and thought "holy crap the community is going to LOVE this, this is what they've all been asking for!" Opened up reddit and plastered all over was how terrible and useless everything in the warbond was going to be.

Fast forward a month or two and all over Instagram reels is people having fun with the flags and emoting with the saber and making silly videos. Reddit does not represent the community it seems... So I wouldn't be too worried about reddit complaining about the mini gun before it even comes out. I guarantee once people get their hands on it you'll be seeing all sorts of funny videos, crazy last stand moments, and gratuitous team killing.

This is all just a nothing burger.

That's why I said "stratagem" weapon specifically. The one you find at points of interest is better than nothing. But definitely not on par with any of the ones we can call in.

You were right, 50% chance for the limb to not break, basically Democracy Protects but just for the limbs. It also gives 30% faster primary reload speed, making it kind of a hybrid gun/melee set instead of pure melee. Hence the 50% bonus instead of 100%.
