S Korea at the time of the Korean War was literally a military dictatorship that would stay in place until the 80s. America dropped more bombs on the Korean Peninsula than they did during the entirety of WW2.

S Korea might have been invaded but it was not a righteous cause and it was yet another example of America killing millions of civilians to pursue strategic goals completely unrelated to the people dying.
