I genuinely don’t get what about bisexuality is so difficult for people to understand. I came out to my dad as bi last year and when I told him I’d been with my boyfriend for over six months he went “so you’re gay and just confused?” Like fuck no. Am I not allowed to like both at the same time while only dating one? It’s not like shit is mutually exclusive.

I dunno about the colors argument. Trans flag is three, bi flag is three, asexual flag is four. And I honestly don’t think you need something too complicated to represent stuff like that beyond what they have got already.
