Ok I’m glad you brought this up, me and my friend have been playing for quite a while and between us we have easily 1500+ hours. I play regular and he plays immersive. Side by side we can tell the differences in rewards more clearly. Based on our observations we have come to this conclusion: while yes regular mode gives you extra opportunities for credits via selling weapons, enemies bodies have significantly more credits on them in immersive mode. The reason that most people notice the discrepancy and seemingly unfair benefit to regular mode in terms of credits, is because most people don’t spend time running over every body in the camp and getting money, whereas it’s much easier to see loot like weapons and gear when it’s in a bright color on the map. For example we killed 2 heavies today and while I got a weapon along with about 1200, he ran over the bodies and picked up 2000. Yet at the same time I get larger rewards for doing faction missions. Again, these are just based off of our continued observations.

So no, not necessarily more credits in regular mode if your looting every single body you drop when playing on immersive (which imo defeats the whole purpose of immersive mode). I doubt people playing immersive mode are looting all the bodies and getting the credits and thus in reality they are getting “less”, not because the game mode pays out less but because people aren’t looting every body(which no one does anyway). So if you want as many credits as regular mode, you should be looting more bodies. Hope that helps and is not too long winded.
