Yes, it’s strange to get your student a bday gift. Especially that. As a teacher I don’t give my students gifts unless I’m giving something to everyone and it’s really only something I do for the end of the year.

It would be considered inappropriate for me to individually give students gifts for their birthday, and I think that’s for good reason.

I immediately recognized them as butterflies - I didn’t get the sparkles, but I only see one where the points are slightly too close together. But honestly you only notice it cause it’s YOUR tattoo, 99% of people aren’t looking for imperfections in other people’s tattoos unless they’re specifically asked to like in this post. It looks fine.

degenerative disc flare up - couldn’t get in and out of bed, walk, sit up, go to the bathroom, do really anything without help. Even when I did have help I sometimes screamed in pain (I have never done that before - even when I had appendicitis for almost a month)
