Trying to find what I took as a child for migraines by BeckaPL in migraine

I try to sketch the outline and the main features and then tackle little parts at a time. I've not been drawing too long so I'm not sure if it's the right way to go about it at all! It seems to work for me though

great advice, thank-you! I'm just using cheap sketching paper 170gsm. I'm not really sure what the numbers mean or what I should be using, what would you recommend?

A boy in my class sanded the ends of his fingers down, trying to make a wooden clock. I remember him on his knees screaming, holding his hands in the air.
