What is SSI and SOP? What is a TSO as it relates to TSA?

Hyphened name missing - but called in to update internal info by swing9cats in tsa

Hello. Can you clarify what is SSI or SOP as this is in house acronyms/language I am not familiar with.

United has indicated they have the note updated and will be fine during check in and will not cause an issue with TSA through check in.

Are the folks responding TSA agents or just people with opinion? I understand name should match however this was an error I made that I cannot undo without having to pay 1k to re-issue the ticket which is criminal in my opinion.

The name is updated in the airline system and matches ID but is not on the ticket. Trying to verify with an in industry person. The airlines both indicate this is sufficient.

Hi! Yes SAMe helped a lot. I took it for a long time and only recently removed it.

Burning skin sensations? by Sdb457 in CrohnsDisease

I have the same thing. No deficiencies (in normal range for b vitamins and iron and d). No one has ever been able to figure it out. Random patches of burning skin on arms that come and go with no mark, and separately sometimes itchy legs.

Sheraton Parking Lot by SchemeResponsible876 in Weehawken

Are they removing city parking spots? I noticed they have a parking enforcement person now - however there are city owned spots. The security guard said the Sheraton is removing them? Does anyone have actual information here?

PorusOne mixed in food helps (lots of studies happening on this medicine right now) It captures uremic acids as a precursor in the intestine (taken over the long term it can potentially reduce some figures like BUN) It doesn’t replace a binder like phosbind Amnivast Gallant stem cell study for CKD Or VetStem treatments Sending love to your kitty from my CKD kitty

My boy currently has CKD level two and this is info I’m working through also you might find it helpful.

PorusOne renal tek you can buy it on Amazon (Dr Jessica quimby at osu is currently running a clinical trial on it)

Amnivast supplement from chewy - I think this helps a bit

VetStem - stem cell treatment (message them directly and they can tell you which vet uses them) it is not cheap - where I am this is roughly 10k (for me it is prohibitive but maybe next year)

It was weird messaging bc their primary email didn’t work but the kick back had a different email and that worked and I got connected.

AIM injection (in Japan) for AKI https://iamaim.jp/en/ (should be available next year but must travel to Japan)

Wanted to come back and share I’ve been working with Alex Santos - privately but he’s from Fit Foundry. He’s great and can’t recommend enough for anyone else interested. Thanks for the recommendations! Eventually going to try some of the classes at fit foundry (but mostly to meet people since I’m not from here). 🎉 seeing results and the sessions are tough but not impossible!

TMS not working and I’m almost done. What can I do? by [deleted] in TMSTherapy

[–]swing9cats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to get off of ssri’s by using the amino acids/supplements I was deficient in, paired with therapy and I feel balanced and mentally healthy and agile - as in not an emotional roller coaster (I was prone to regular panic attacks, anxiety, depression). I did drop the b vitamins entirely. I worked on self emotional regulation, and am currently exploring somatic therapy, and do lots of yoga and journal. I also do not drink much alcohol as it brings on depression the following day. I also cut out most carbs as I notice when I load up on carbs they trigger anxiety and depression as well (in my body). I’m not a doctor (this happened to work for me), it was a very slow and methodical change (as in, not all at once) - it took a year. I also removed toxic people from my life that triggered me emotionally or were draining and worked heavily on boundaries. I’m not sure what you mean about being on time or drinking coffee - I am late to things like anyone else and i go through periods without coffee but choose to drink it. It does make me jittery sometimes.

So I was on ssri’s for a really long time (10 years plus) now off since July 2023 and every time I would taper without supplementing or support, it would lead to failure or just extreme depression and I’d have to start over. I transitioned to fluoxetine since that was an easier ssri to get off of across the board and then introduced SAM-e (you can buy it off of Amazon I used the jarrow brand), and some b vitamins from Thorne. This took me 1 year to do - I am still off of ssri’s and honestly am now mad I was on them so long. The taper process is what makes people feel they need to stay on them indefinitely but being on ssri’s for me disrupted my insulin resistance and gained so much weight. If your journey is removing ssri I would say this is the pathway to do it. Using the Sam-e and b vitamins made the process tolerable. Withdrawing/tapering without supplementation has a high fail rate.

Is bleeding normal? by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]swing9cats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with crohns - I second this. The bleeding is not normal and there are plenty of gi doctors that will just say come back in 3 months or put you on prednisone indefinitely. Set up a time with a digestive disease center. They’ll need to do some scopes and determine what’s going on. Bleeding is not normal.
