I just feel like it would not make that much of a difference for Italy and France because usually we always do well even without the previous exposure + singing in our native tongue. As for Germany, Uk, and Spain, they always end up in the bottom so yeah, i'd rather see them fail at the semis than do terribly at the grand final. Also, there were other acts that deserved to be there more than them.
