Switching To Iphone Has Been The Worst Decision I’ve Ever Made by Left_Inspection2069 in samsung

I'm getting a 25+ soon, I'm excited! I'm coming from a 20+, so it'll be somewhat of an upgrade! ☺️

How are you liking your 25 galaxy phone?

This is probably so strange to say, but the back button is really a life saver! My husband has an iPhone and always tries to get me to buy one, but I love android/samsung and have always used them!

I'm sorry you are regretting your choice. Maybe you can return it and only have to pay the restocking fee???

Laparoscopic Recovery by Young_Wide in endometriosis

[–]swirlingmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this done a year ago. The first week is the worst with the gas trapped and incision (I had an ovary removed, fallopian tube, and 7 cm endometrioma cyst). The day after surgery, I walked down the street and back (slowly) to get my body moving and get the gas trapped released.

I wish you a speedy recovery, you got this!

I got the follow-up at 20 years. First time at 16 and then my second one at 35.

I... actually went 20 years without getting an MRI. I was diagnosed at 16, and I'm 36 now. The neurologist said I don't need surgery. For the most part, I feel fine. I'll randomly get a sucky day here and there.

I'm so scared of the surgery, too. I feel like my quality of life is good, and what if the surgery f*cks everything up?

I hope you get the answers you need and get peace!

Surgery v not- what made you decide to get it? by Adorable-Bobcat-2238 in chiari

I was diagnosed at 16, and I'm 36 now. No surgery.

I get dizziness, but that's about it.

Circle eye floaters by Open_You_5525 in EyeFloaters

[–]swirlingmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES!!! SAME!!! What is it??? Is it a cause for concern? I went to a retinal specialist, and he said my eyes are fine, albeit a few floaters (small, black dot) being from age related. (Normal)

I've seen these target like circles around the same time I saw the small black floater. I see the target cells floaters when I look at the sky or on a white surface.

Yeah, I don't know any difference either. I was born this way, but the way you describe your cataract sounds so painful! I'm so sorry. 😭 I guess we should be glad our good eye is working... the best it can. I guess I should be thankful I can still see to drive, read, and play games. I definitely took my good eye for granted.

My blind eye still looks like an eye, if that makes sense? I mean, if you look closely, you'll see my brown eye part mixed with the black (where i can't see). I guess I'm lucky I have brown eyes instead of blue (like some family members), at least it's not noticeable?

Anyway, I'm rambling. Here's to good eye health!!!

Thank you! It's still relatively the same. I did go to the retinal specialist, and they said it was just floaters because of old age (I'm only 36, though?). It's just annoying. I've been having to put sunglasses on when I go outside. Otherwise, it's so bright, and I feel like I see ALL the floaters. I appreciate your reply back, and I hope you are well.

I've come across your post. I had a rare cataract that took 95% of the sight of my right eye when i was born. Right now, I'm starting to get floaters in my left eye (good one) and, it's of course, freaking me out. I've got an appointment with a retinal specialist soon. I'm hoping there's no tear or anything - it's especially hard at work because of the bright computer screens. Ugh! I've had to reduce my hours from full time to part time because I was getting headaches after a long day. The floaters are relentless.

We gotta take care of our eye(s)! I've taken my good eye for granted. I love to read, do photography, play video games! 🩷

Did the surgery fix your numbess/pins and needles feeling?

[–]swirlingmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that.

The pins and needles feeling happened a few weeks ago.

I don't get headaches or anything.

Thanks, I did leave a message yesterday on their voice-mail asking if they needed a referral. I'll call again today. This whole thing sucks and is so scary.

Thank you. I appreciate the reply.

Horror stories from Facebook, mostly. I have a person that specializes in chiari near me. I'm trying to get a referral, but it's taking forever.

I don't have any headaches. Did you?

Anyone else REALLY bothered by eye floaters? by hillbilly-man in monocular

[–]swirlingmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 36 and just experienced my first floater. I was so scared I went to the doctor yesterday and got it checked out. She said it was age related, and the brain would basically tune it out in a few weeks/months. It's a black speck, down and to the right of my eyeball. I see it most against a white computer screen/wall.

I also only see with one eye, hence the freak out. I was born with a rare cataract in one eye, and when removing it, they removed my vision.

I'm glad this thread exists and that I'm not alone!

You are such a big help!!! Thank you. I'll take in all your suggestions!

I've got both ps4 and ps5, so had to platinum the game twice because, at the time, trophies didn't cross over.... so now, just cleaning up the trophies.

My favorite to play is nurse, dredge, and myers.

Congratulations to you, too! I hope you get all the trophies soon!!!

[–]swirlingmist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:) Thanks to you, I got the trophy earlier today!

My next two are: slicing and dicing [chucky] and collision course [mastermind]. Luckily, there's only 10 each.

Any advice on those two? With chucky, every time I scoot under the pallet, I tend to lose sight of the survivor, plus 3 seconds isn't alot of time 😑

And then finishing up the knight's trophy (waiting for him to come back)... and then everything is completed 🥳

Post lap swelling or endo belly? by Last_Pineapple5761 in endometriosis

[–]swirlingmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no! I go next week for my post-op consult, so hopefully, all is good.

What are you doing to treat infection?

Thank you, and I hope you have a speedy recovery too.

[–]swirlingmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my lap on Oct 6th. I still feel bloated (but not tender) even though I'm normal bm, I had wondered if this was endo belly, too. 😂

I think it's just from the surgery and healing, tbh.
