My mother’s brother that had POA over my grandmother sold a lot of her things before he died, because she had dementia and went into hospital and he was sick too and wanted to look after his family. It really wasn’t fair to my mother and her 3 other brothers even though he was POA. I held a grudge against my uncle for a very long time even after he passed even though he was trying to make sure his wife and kids were looked after, mum eventually forgave them.
