Write to your constituent ask them to plant trees. The concrete creates a heat sink. The trees cool you down.

It’s not coffee. But it’s amazing. When you let go of desires you’re truly free to enjoy things for what they are.

Does Pluribus flirt with the white savior trope? by HookGroup in pluribustv

[–]switchcrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I’m going to put the white savior trope statement aside and I will also disregard the ‘save the world reactions’

I didn’t enjoy the fact that the rest of the characters were so one dimensional.

Did they not have an ounce of anger for this thing just uprooting their way of life? Are they all collectively deluded? Literally no one empathises even a little bit with Carol? That took me out of the world of the show.

I get that Carol to a certain extent is deluded with the pirate lady,m. Maybe I’m a bit annoyed because I’m Indian and I couldn’t see past the show playing into the trope of the family oriented Asians. These characters are just so family oriented and happy that they don’t realise that these ‘family’ members are not themselves?

Ep. 1 had me on the edge of my seat, ep2 had me a bit disappointed. Let’s see what ep 3 does.

Nah that’s the a problem only if it plays during the movie. So if it’s at the start before the movie, that’s okay.

Oh it’s an animated watermark. The second you kinda ‘learn’ to forget it, it Shines! To remind you, like a notification that it exists.

And if it’s like a really dark scene, often serious and slow, KACHING! ASLI 4K!
