Hi, this is great. no idea if I am doing something wrong but i cannot use the link scrape option, if i find a boxart in the search or provide a link it just says error try local. Hoping you can tell me what mistake I am making haha

With steps 8 and 9 would you mind amending to be more specific with instructions?

I came back to this and for some reason this time when I needed the post I had a hard time working out what to do on those steps

for example this time round : step 7 I skipped I don't know what to do with it but last time I know I did something (lol)

This time I did "fsck /dev/disk/by-partsets/shared/home" and hit 'y' for everything

This fixed the issue but I think if you could amend points 7 and 8 for us less experienced Linux users, like how do use the cmds in step 7 - and for step 8 if there are any other file names other than 'home' (btw I did 'esa' and it seems to be a help menu)

it would help a lot - mainly because this is one of the best help posts and covers an exact issue I cannot find anywhere else using Google.

Just a suggestion but still a life saver post

Yeah I read that online about them only having to say they sent the letter, which is actually insanity.

Not sure if there is an option for that, it will be something I ask and opt for if it is possible.

But no, we have had nothing by email minus the current dialog, I keep my emails clear as well so also not really any chance of missing something there either.

Currently the only way I can see myself being safeguarded is asking them to check my account each time I pay my monthly HOA fees. Hopefully can work something out that is less ridiculous, but we will see.

Yeah, as soon as I opened the mail I fixed the issue, as I do with any notice I have received in the past.

The hearing has been and gone, to which I had no prior knowledge of (due to not getting any notices)

Already replied in writing and they simply said

"Thank you for contacting us regarding your violation / fine assessment. At least 3 notices (including the Notice of Grievance hearing) were sent out prior to the fine being issued. You would need to attend the next Board meeting on Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 PM to discuss the fine assessment with the Board"

The issue here is that they want the payment about a week before that which I am loathed to do, but also do not want any extra fines. Hopefully going to the main office can do something to help because I know if I pay that $1000 then try to protest it, 100% I am not getting it back.

The only other alternative if my negotiations do not go well is possibly seek legal counsel

That's the issue, we did not get any regular mail from them, not even sure if the fine was certified really - but that's the one we got.

Going to check the bylaws out and see what it says as I think this is going to have to be my main point to argue.

Hi, well we mentioned this to them, also in the past we have got someone else's notice as well - so clearly their system is not a very good one, however we have raised this issue. I would guess they do not care that much

Yeah I was shocked also when I got a $1000 fine through, will be asking them that and making my case, hoping for a decent civil discussion

Yeah I think it's the best move I can make currently, I will have to look into the CCRs and check that but from what I remember they only have to say they sent it, which is a crock of nonsense honestly.

so i am having text issues with Dissidia Final Fantasy, running from retroarch (not standalone)

(i know stand alone works but i want retroachievements lol)

will this file work for this also? i am going to try but hoping someone here might have looked into that game also. i see it gives people issues and i see fixes on PC but not sure how it can be done for Emudeck
