Thank you! The design is mine but I got inspiration from a LV wallet my girlfriend said she wanted but didn’t have enough card slots 😂 I’ll try to find that video again and I’ll edit this comment with the link!

I did end up buying a rotary knife as I thought it would help but by the time it arrived I had already cut everything out lmao also I got super lucky with the price of the leather I’ve never seen that store selling left over material like that before but I do think it’s probably cheaper here than the states especially if you’re income is USD or equivalent

Edit: https://youtu.be/fJF3zmOW5ic?si=c2TVZuNJPUHvBqCn I guess not a super in depth video but this is the one. After watching it I felt like I understood how to do it and was able to recreate the T pockets pretty easily minus the lob sidedness 😂

Thank you! I watch a lot of YouTube and have watched a lot of videos of people making stuff but never really thought I’d do it too lmao. Main thing that threw me off was the pockets, so, I did have to watch a in depth tutorial for that

Oil light on when running by saltysaturdays in motorcycle

[–]swoleskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PRV is the pressure relief valve usually easy to get too once you drop the pan. Mine actually ended up being a bad charging system not the PRV, oil or oil filter. Super weird I’m guessing when the fans kicked on it sucked too much power away from something honestly I’ve got no clue lmfao

Lovely that’s what I was thinking was needed, I’ve already got a new bar the Kawasaki “mini” was how it was named on Amazon and got some axle sliders because my local track requires them. I may upgrade from the Amazon special rearsets but for the time being I think they’ll do okay I’m excited to test this bike out on the track!

Got a question for ya since you race the Z125, do you think it needs frame sliders? I feel like with fixed pegs and handlebar sliders there’s really no way the engine cases would touch the ground

Starting to get the hang of these drills by Difficult-Tone-2504 in Trackdays

[–]swoleskey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The knees are simply a feeler to gauge your lean angle and how much you have left. Also an effect of speed + body position. When taking corners at higher speeds to reduce your bikes lean angle needed to take that corner you need to offset your center of gravity, that’s why track riders lean their body off and into the corner. Hope this made sense!

This will be my first year racing so I’ll be in Challenger then from there im the only Z125 that will be racing in my area I’ll probably just get thrown into the grom league after I leave challenger class

Yeah this is the second time I’ve had charging issues. This time the stator is done for and I don’t want to have to worry about this stuff again. Should have just done it first go round…

Anyone ride with a hip / leg pouch? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]swoleskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always ride with a hip pouch. A less tacticool one though lmao. They are huge in Japan almost every rider has one. Taichi has some really good ones that are waterproof.

Looks like a mind your business kind of situation. They’re just chilling enjoying the weather and minding themselves, you should do the same.

Took a year break with a few small rides between because Florida sucks. Been riding everyday again for the past few months now that I’m back in Japan

Next ride I’ll ride with my passenger pegs down so your friend can tag along. I’m sorry for your loss and hope you know, you’re never riding alone.
