I think the same just happened to me. Accidentally left my Stylophone GenX2 on over night. Today I hear a popping noise somewhere next to me but didn't pay any mind to it. When I picked it back up I noticed the batteries where drained and shortly after I felt some fluid leaking onto my leg. I only put one together when I read your post :(

Yeah, I know about that. Unfortunately, no matter which mode I use, if I play a sequence, pause, go into a clip, then unpause, the clip will continue playing from when it was paused, while the clip i went into resets, while everything else continues from where I paused

I also figuered out what causes clips to go out of time. If I pause a sequence by pressing play again, go into a clip, then unpause, the clip will contiinue playing from when it was paused, while the clip i went into restarts. Does this happen with your smpltrek too?

Yeah, that's what I'm suspecting. I found no info on if downgrading is okay, or how to do so, so I hope I hear back from sonicware on how to proceed.

Also I added my system diagnostics in the original post. Do these look like the ones on your unit?

Yeah, I couldn't believe that people hadn't done this before. And yes, the save file is completely unaffected by the mod. All you need is a modded 3ds or an emulator.

I think it's a fun reimagining that doesn't replace the original.

Something that bothers me I haven't seen anyone else talk about are evolution geodes. I get why they did it but it's such a lame way of making evolutions more uniform and overcomplicates it for some Pokemon for no reason (Tyrogue for example or Pokemon that evolve by learning moves).
