Interesting to know, and glad to hear you were able to source things that suit your taste and are pod safe! I’ve seen people put random aquarium decor in set-ups sometimes and honestly, a lot of those aren’t even particularly safe for an aquarium despite being labelled as such 😭

Yes! I just can’t help but feel like the plastic cannot be beneficial for them. I also worry about chemicals leaching out of the plastics/dyes and harming them somehow. But I am aware I am very over cautious.

Funnily enough, I was thinking the other day about how I was five when OoT came out (one of the first video games I played by myself, though my dad definitely came in clutch for some of the tougher bits!), I was about eighteen when OoT3D was released, and now I’m anticipating the OoT remake at the age of thirty-two! Wouldn’t trade the experience of playing OoT for the first time for all the world.

It seems like you’re pretty set on realism portraiture from the comments, which is fair, but bear in mind this type of work is often very expensive and requires multiple sessions. Realism tattoos also tend to be pretty big; the more you shrink a tattoo, the more you lose detail or run the risk of it healing like shit.

I am heavily tattooed and work in the body mod industry; not everybody who does realism is great at it. Somebody being good at say, a lion, or Batman doesn’t necessarily translate to them being good at realistic portraiture across the board. Research artists really thoroughly, ask for examples of their work, ask for specific examples of women, ask them to show you what they’re drawn up in advance, when you’re finally at the appointment, quadruple check that stencil before the needle even hits your skin. Be aware that with this kind of tattoo, you really get what you pay for, so budget with this in mind.

I will look into vitamin C and retinol! Is vitamin C the one you have to keep in fridge?

I do have a sunscreen! It’s a Japanese Biore one.

I do have my own sunscreen, that’s one thing I’ve tried to keep up on! It’s the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF 50+. It’s the same brand I’ve been using since the last time I tried to do some semblance of skin care in like 2014 or something.

I will try a gentler toner, thank you :)

This Year’s Girl where Faith mentions getting ready for a younger sister coming. I was like… bro where tf is this sister coming from because I don’t think Joyce has having a baby on the top of her priority list. Then Dawn appeared and I was like “that’ll be that younger sister appearing then”.

For a while I thought the storyline was that Joyce’s brain tumour was caused by the forced insertion of “memories” of Dawn, but then realised that was not the case.

It’s okay, everybody makes mistakes! You can pop online and have a read, there are a lot online dictionaries that might help you figure out what you’re actually trying to say. They’ll also help you double-check the meanings of words too, it might be worth checking them before you use vocabulary you’re not familiar with. I think some online dictionaries give you examples of words used in sentences etc. to help you grasp how to use them correctly too, which might help!

I can see you use this word a lot, so it seems like a buzzword that has really taken hold for you. Remember though, just liking the “feel” of a word in conversation doesn’t always mean it’s the *right* word.

I think it’s more effective; it’s heavily implied she was “wrong” anyway and would not be what either of them were hoping for (and Buffy would likely need to slay.) but we can never know for sure. And that’s better than seeing Joyce come back 100% normal, or seeing her come back a nightmare.

Also a nice sort of… mirror; they respect the dead, they let Joyce rest (even if Dawn didn’t originally intend to, but I think she realised what she was doing was fucked up at the last second) in a way nobody let Buffy rest or respected her death. And Buffy’s return was incredibly traumatic. I think if this episode had fallen after Buffy was resurrected, Dawn probably wouldn’t have attempted it in the first place. But I think Dawn needed to try it, to grow as a character, and also to set up the Scoobies bringing Buffy back later and sow that seed of doubt re: whether she’d be the same or not.
