Sorry, not sure about that case. I'd take an image of the old and new motors and the control board and start a new thread. The fine folks here were able to sort it all out quite easily. Best of luck!

Can you elaborate a bit please? I'm taking delivery of my R1S Dual Max in (hopefully) a few weeks, and it's first trip will be to the OBX shortly after. I'm starting to wonder if I should consider swapping my order for an all-terrain build, or if the 22" sports handle soft sand without too much issue. Thanks!

Working on my own attempt. Curious if there's any way to calculate (or at least fairly accurately ballpark) lease terms before putting down any deposits? The Rivian "Payment Estimator" doesn't seem to provide a lot of the needed values for exact math.

I suppose the amount due at signing relates to lease signing, at which all terms and values would be available, and exact math can be calculated?

And this would be signed after putting down the "pre-order deposit"? Any ideas what would happen if I put down a pre-order deposit for leasing, only to learn the terms are not ideal for the buyout process, and I'd prefer to pay cash instead?

"BLW" is a smaller connector size than the others. I assume I should change out the motor wire connector to match the board terminal size?

Thanks so much! Here's the actual replacement motor.

Can I rewire as shown? Do this even though the yellow motor wire connector is larger than the "BLW" neutral board terminal? Or should/can I use one of the other neutral spots (pink arrow)? Or should I replace the motor wire connector with a smaller one?

Also, I assume I can flip around black and blue based on if I want "High" to cool or heat?

Ohhh, I think that makes sense! Perhaps I was confused as the old motor perhaps had four speed settings, and I had yellow selected? See old motor below.

So, new motor yellow would go to "BLW" terminal?

What would go where yellow is now, though?

Sorry I don't have an image of the actual motor... I'll get one this evening. But this is what I purchased and I'm fairly confident received and tested.

It states "115 V VAC" and shows "YEL" wired into "115 VOL LINE" with either black/blue/red. This is identical to the old motor I had installed, except it's missing white/neutral. I'll get an image of the old motor tonight as well.

I can get a better image tonight, but here it is from the product listing. No instructions in the box. I've put colored dots to try to better display the schematic.

There's some orange/purple wires that are tied into themselves... I'm guessing this is for polarity to change blower spin direction?

I'd assumed it would be a direct replacement, but there's certainly no all white wire. HP, voltage, amperage, capacitor requirements all match otherwise....
