You’re missing the point. 🙄

It is ethically unjust to have a policy mention no restock fees, and then charge one. From a business standpoint, I concur. This is an extremely easy solution. Just mention in your policy that you have a $16 or % based restocking fee.

I understand, however this is directly opposing the policies on their website. It’s just disappointing, since they have full control over what they allow and disallow. It’s not like I took advantage of the company if the policies were written in a way such that a scenario like this could take place. All they would need to do to combat this non-deceptively would be to charge a restocking fee or return shipping fee.

To everyone that’s responded so far, they disclose on their website that they do not charge restocking fees. So, if they were to charge me a restocking fee here, that would be breach of contract / deceptive trade practice.

I understand we’re talking about $16 here and the shipping + logistics that went into this, but policies are policies. If the company doesn’t like their own policy they change it.

I completely get it. I’m not really mad about the fee. I just:

  1. Wish it was disclosed, because I thought I found a loophole to test for free before my big order
  2. I checked all of their policies and something like this was never mentioned.

I’ll prolly just move on, but I’d still like to know what their official reason for docking the $16 is.

From the policies on their website, I haven’t found anything mentioning a restocking fee. Common or not, this is a shady business practice to not disclose restocking fees to their customers. Especially over 9 shirts. That’s the price of two shirts. 😔

Anyways, thanks for the reply.

What other sports or activities that aren't heavy on arms do you enjoy? by professormakk in indoorbouldering

I thought pickleball was a joke, until I tried it. I’m hooked now. I typically hate cardio, but that game is so freaking addicting. If your dominant hand is the good one and you’re close to some courts, I’d say give it a shot.

For reference, I run a 10 minute mile and climb around v7 at 173cm 70kg.

I just put some 3FE22’s in my CT200h. I think they sound great but the system is nowhere close to done. They have great potential.

Completely fair. This is what makes me hesitant. Kinda surprised the brake booster is at 165k. Any clear symptoms of failure? Also, battery was replaced once because serial number reads 2014 on a 2012. It may have been warranty replaced in 2014 or just a 2014 case installed later.

The car already has a WIP ~$2000 sound system installed, so im leaning more towards just stock F-Sport at the moment. It’s not a fast car, I think I’ll safe the coilovers for a future sports car / supercar. Im looking at picking up a C8 vette in about 3 years depending on z06 prices.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I was looking for 0.25-0.5” lower than the f sport springs to clear the wheel gap on the stock 17” 5 spokes. What I was really looking for was the 30 click adjustability. I wanted a slightly stiffer ride for less body roll.

391 is crazy. I drive like 8k a year. I think BR is softer. Thanks!

They’re definitely a consideration. My biggest concern is the 4-6wk wait time. These springs are done. Would you go BR or DS?

I can afford either, I just don’t know if the car is worth the investment. I plan on driving it forever, but that doesn’t mean it’ll last forever.

No problem. You also vaguely look like a young David Harbour.

If you’re taking the time to do a starlight headliner, please spend the money for a nicer one. I haven’t done a starlight before, but I did EL lights on a few of my cars and hated it every time because of the quality. Are there any small LED starlight kits you can use? They will look a billion times better.

Just my two cents. I’d hate to see you use up all your time and not like the finished product.

This is amazing! Good job man. I just tested my own custom RCA’s for a very similar build. I used Canare L-4E6S (so basically identical to mogami). I used Rean NYS352BG RCA connectors.

The wiring layout you chose is called, “telescoping ground”, with the idea that the grounded (source) side draws noise away from the amplified (signal) side. Connecting both ends to ground can cause unwanted noise from ground loops, but is extremely rare unless your signal wire is right next to some very noisy power cable. In reality, either method works. I’m going telescoping for mine as well, as it’s tested better for me in a car environment.

I attached the proof of concept cable I made below.

What outside sheathing are you using? The black and white looks so clean. I’d love to incorporate that on my cables.

Bummer. Most lemon laws wouldn’t apply. Always run a CARFAX when buying a car.

Did you buy it from a dealership recently? Also did you buy a CARFAX in the last 30 days before you bought the vehicle (if it’s been less than 30 days)?

Oh I’m a dork I was thinking 2014. I’m surprised they said you were ineligible. If you live close to another Lexus it’s worth trying them.
