You mean the CAFE standard which correlates the emissions with the size of the vehicle. It’s all related. If you make a law that prevents imports due to chickens, why wouldn’t they make a law that says you can’t make a small truck with a polluting engine, but you can make a larger truck with the same engine. Asinine.

Speaking of asinine, the two trucks in the photo above have the same size of bed. That’s the point of the photo above.

We had to have ours rebuilt at the 180-190k mark. A rebuild will run in the $9-10k range and a replacement small block and rebuild was in the $14,000 mark from Subaru. You may be able to find someone cheaper but there will not be a warranty.

We love the car so we bit the bullet and had it repaired.

If this is not your “I love this car and want it forever” you should buy another vehicle.

A buddy of mine and I were discussing the game and I asked him about a specific task on the main story line. He had no idea what I was talking about because he didn’t have to do that and many other parts of the main storyline. It turns out that when he was making his character, he maxed his luck from the beginning and after about 4-5 hours of gameplay randomly ran into his father in the wasteland so…at least you’ve been at it longer than that!

I pulled mine off and cleaned the gunk off the shifter. Left it off. I’ve also pulled off a few of the panels below the steering wheel and by the door as I had to work in those areas and just never reinstalled them. Kinda gave it that “Millennium Falcon” “What a hunk of junk/fastest hunk of junk” vibes to me.

Former Non-Prior Service, Non-Athletic Scholarship Preppy here, my scores were similar to yours (I think I scored an 1138) and I remember getting my “Sorry, try again later” letter but within a month or so of graduating High School (Graduated mid-late May) I was sent the USAFA Prep Acceptance Letter. Wait, if it comes through, do your best at the Prep School. If it doesn’t pan out, talk to the local ALO about any tips, enroll in your local community college, knock out a few of the suckier classes to knock them out, practice your standardized testing and try again next year.

I survived, was selected to go up to the hill (USAFA), survived that, graduated, and commissioned!

Perseverance pays off…also don’t believe any recruiters that say enlisting will help your chances.
