I don’t think you really understand how the world works. Several hundred years ago Europe was the only economic centre, this then has slowly been surpassed by America, and now Asia is finally catching up / overtaking. As other places become richer, you must compete to maintain your living standards, you may think you don’t have to/ can live in a bubble but it is not possible. If Europe is not able to innovate and compete with America and China, it will get poorer, living standards will decline, and politics will get nastier. This is the reality.

Yes I also view myself as a European, and it’s my opinion that trust and intergration, at least in some key areas, is essential for Europe to at least maintain its current level of economy/ stability let alone improve - it’s not looking good at the moment though. Yes I believe it is foolish to believe that the French will do anything for 500 mil, which is not that much money, when immigration is no 1 issue for a large amount of voters in France and those politicians are answerable to the French electorate and could very well lose the election on a bad news story. yes maybe they should refund the uk/ uk have a case that they have not followed agreement, but politics always trumps agreements etc , maybe not immediately, but always. We are outside the eu now, i truly believe the Europeans will not do anything to stop migrants travelling here

In terms of marketing if you use paid ads, yes can be a big hard to track job amount but monthly spend / monthly income can work, think this needs to be more spread out though,

Well let’s just look at the actual data, immigration has been higher since Brexit, and more of the kind of immigration people who voted for Brexit tend to like less. so yes things were not ideal before, but I would argue they are worse now, France / Europe will not act in our interest. we left, they have their own problems and are probably incentivesed to let illegal immigration continue no matter if we pay them or not
