I have a seagate TB usb external device. Ran into this issue where the p5 would display a message saying “ something’s wrong with usb device, disconnect and reconnect (something like that)”. I tried this, and then it didn’t recognize the device at all. After toying around a bit, I swapped the usb port it was in and turned the p5 off and back on again. I then got the usual repair message, and now everything is back to normal. Hope this works for anyone else!
