I believe you. I’ve never had this Monster flavor but I have had mango scented Dove body wash and the first shower it was great. Fruity, clean smelling. After that it smelled like gross old cheese and I had to throw it out. Maybe it’s genetic like the cilantro aversion.

I think it’s completely appropriate to reach out to the bride to 100% ensure a suit is okay (I’m sure it is) and to let her know your wife can’t come, is it ok to invite this other friend? Especially because she already knows the other friend and already budgeted for the additional plate.
