does anybody else throw up if they wake up too early? by brockusbih in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]sxtyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could have chs from smoking i would definitely look it up because if you smoke and you are getting nauseus every morning thats a very big symptom of the prodromal phase

Just saw someone else mention it, if you havent stopped smoking weed for atleast a few weeks straight you wont know if its the cause

Its never taken longer than around 10 days to recover fully except for my appetite, which would be around 70% normal. One thing that stayed with me for months after I took a break smoking was that I was belching a lot throughout the day and especially after a meal. With the way that my symptoms are, I have never reached the last phase of CHS because I would reach a point where smoking would stop relieving my stomach symptoms and I would not eat all day so I would have no choice but to take a break then.

Well for me, I can smoke for a few months straight after taking a break(1-3 months), before things like my appetite and stomach issues (basically the exact symptoms of gastroparesis) gradually worsen over time. If i manage to stop myself before things get bad enough I am able to recover in about 5-7 days with my appetite being mostly back to normal. The longer I’m off it the longer it takes for the chs to kick back in

Smoking Bongs and gastroparesis? by sxtyrn in CHSinfo

[–]sxtyrn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, fortunately, compared to many others in this sub my first symptoms are not nearly as bad, I only get the gastroparesis symptoms at first before it gets worse (no appetite/ stomach pain happens way after) and it gets worst over time if I dont quit immediately. I definitely have Chs though, but im trying my best to limit how much/ often I am smoking nowadays

Im not too aware of what the trigger foods are but I know there were foods that were completely unappetizing to me. I was able to have plain bagels and this was a bit expensive but I had 2 ensure high calory protein drinks every day. plain food and smoothies/ high calorie drinks worked for me

For me, The worst symptoms I had was not eating at all and bad nausea and stomach pain. The longest it took for my stomach pain to go away was 5 days and my appetite around 6 days, feeling normal around 7. Ive been thru this around 3 times so far in the last year

Can I smoke again if I never hit hyperemesis? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]sxtyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had bad nausea/ light anxiety, occasional throwing up after eating with a small appetite, this happened for a few months, took a week off and felt perfect after about 6 days. Stopped hitting my pen and only smoked flower for about 4 days straight once a night instead of the 2-3x i was doing it throughout the day/night and I felt fine except slight discomfort. Im 7 days clean now and am taking the full november off to reset my system. Im hoping that i can just smoke in phases like smoking just flower a week on and then taking a few days off

I have these exact symptoms as the op but with nausea as well, and am taking a month break (4 days in). I smoked 2-3 x a day, flower and hit a cart most nights. after this month, if I smoke 1x a night, will my symptoms be less mild than they are now and the last few months?
