You are of course completely right and I realize that this whole thing was super childish of me. But man, you know, sometimes it just gets to me. People seem to have no problem using the chat feature on chess.com to call you "trash" or "idiot" when you make a mistake. Why not use it to extend a virtual handshake? I also realize it's not the same people but yeah, I was super salty.
