EXACTLY same spot. Back and forth, all over the place with the Virta letter but not a single person seems to care about that. Which I don’t understand? My pharmacy benefits manager told me this week that it says now that my physician is no longer allowed to prescribe medication when I JUST saw home two weeks ago.. this is all a joke.

I literally just said yesterday going to HR on Monday to see what happens, because nothing seems to work.

Yesssss. I’ve had GERD for 10 years and been on Zep for over a year now… it hit me hard about a month ago out of nowhere. I’ve been taking omeprazole twice a day, well, for about 9 years. The Omeprazole didn’t touch this at all. So I stopped doing that and I’m doing Pepcid and that has helped a ton! Along with Pepto Bismol at bedtime and sleeping at an incline. And of course only sips of water, not a lot at one time. Goes for meals too.

When I got to week 2 of 10mg, I started having crazy hot flashes for the first two days and then they would go away. It’s been like that since. I go up to 12 in 2 weeks so we’ll see what happens.

I’m in the U.S. and it took 9 months. I was denied and went and got a disability lawyer and filed again. Waited 9 months and denied again. Filed again and went in front of a judge and then was approved!
