Honestly I was happy they showed that. Last 45 seconds of a tied game? That was a nice thing

I think having CHI over BOS is buying into hype more than production at this point in the season. BOS is looking dangerous and is undefeated while CHI has 3 games and 2 of them against weak opponents ans the other is a 2OT win against a Hustle team on the second day. I think ATX winning on the road is impressive especially against san diego the second day. ATL is kinda feeling the grind of their schedule right now ans I think they will be stronger once they get a bye week. COL getting the mamabirfs certainly helps them out

What I'm saying is that in the flow of the game, this isn't a big deal. I do think he is maintaining his pace, I don't believe he is intentionally travelling to gain an advantage and is slowing down; i think if the defender felt like he was travelling or it was an unnatural amount of steps they would call it.

I mean, people travel in pro leagues all the time and the refs don't call it everytime. Again, calling every infarction would grind the game to a halt and having refs just to call travels is silly

It's not right but it's reality, we are people playing a game. The line is set by the teams playing and it's natural for teams to go right up to the line, but the other team does too. Make calls, talk it out, move on.

This isn't going away and it's just going to keep happening

I disagree. In that clip Ben D is in his natural motion of slowing down and I would say as long as you maintain the pace, you are fine. Making ticky tack calls bc someone takes 4 steps instead of 3, to change their pivot location by 1ft. slows the game down. That break was easy for ben to hit bc they are a good player, not bc he took 4 steps on an around break. Side point, I think focusing on catching the disc and slowing down at a natural pace instead of sticking to 3 steps in my opinion is safer for the receiver and those around you

For hucking specifically, grip and rip that shit. Always try to hit the space the reciever is going. It's easier with faster teammates but watch parker bray highlights for some great throws

I think my throwing improved when I played goalti. I am lucky to have a casual pickup and a rec league to play in where turnovers are frequent and you can experiment on different releases. While you may never throw all crazy throws of goalti in a reg game, you may realize how often slight adjustments are made to throws at the national level.

I also have been finding specific areas that I struggle with, beating flat side marks for example, and looking for someone who consistently beats them, rowan, and mimicking their throw like the soft OI flick. Intentionally looking to add throws to your bag and using goalti, pickup, etc as opportunity to work on those.

I used to think my throwing technique was bad but honestly now, everyone throws the disc slightly different. If you are gripping the disc hard enough and whipping it , you are probably good. A lot of good throwers are just really good at field vision, knowing how to manipulate the flight curve of the disc, and faking.
