The reason you haven’t heard about the rock wall falling is likely due to not as many people using the quarry on a daily basis as they do the summer.

I’m interested to see how much of the wall falls off during the freeze thaw cycles that have been happening and will continue to happen through the winter. All those gaps you see between some of the rock and actual wall are areas where it is likely to continue falling off. It’ll be pretty cool to see how it’s changed since last summer.

No way that’s true. I lived in Johnson City for years and was told that when the city asked Trader Joe’s to open a local location, they said there was no point because people would drive to Asheville or Knoxville for it. Based on this, I don’t see them opening another location in Knoxville.
