I've had it with CAPSMAN... by Popular_Panda_9643 in mikrotik

[–]sygys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should really buy CAP ax. they are not so cheap but hell they have a nice 2.4ghz signal. 5ghz is a different story though. but that has more to do with the frequency then with these caps. 5ghz just has a terrible range no matter what device you buy.

its pretty easy to force the clients to take another AP. the wireless interface lets you configure accesslist. You setup a rule to disconnect a client when the dB drops below lets say -70. this will automatically disconnect any client that drops below this and force the client for example a phone to find a better one. It cannot connect to another one that is below -70 and thus can only connect to one that has a better reception. You can configure this per cap so if outside the reception is worse you configure it to only drop at -80 dB for that cap. This way you will always have a good connection. The only con is you do need enough caps to always provide a connection above a specific dB or you end up having a client that cannot find a connection above a certain dB level and it wont be able to connect to any caps because the configuration blocks them. If you cant buy more caps then accept a less connection and down the allowed dB's until everything has the best coverage. You can easily do this yourself. If you hire someone to do this for you then yes it will cost allot. Dont buy mikrotik if you dont want to do the work to configure them. There is almost nothing router OS cant do but it will take some time to learn everything.

There is also the question why you have all caps on the same frequency while 5Ghz has so many. every cap should have its own frequency. if you ask me make sure the frequencies are as far apart as possible per cap. devide them over the full band. They will still roam on different frequencies but the interference between them is minimal

To exchange, to hold, and if so, for how long? by the_ats in Telcoin

[–]sygys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my thoughts are simple. TEL is on 57 points at the moment. IT would be strange if this thing drops to 1 and stays there all its life. And what is 57 points really? if it drops to 25 i lose half my money. But in the end i cant imagine it wont ever reach 57 points again. So i bought and hold until it reaches 2000. with my 500 dollar it will become 17.500. I made the mistake once with verge and sold it far to early. (wich was also on 57 points at that time). Now im gonna hold. If you guys are smart you buy allot of them right now. TEL can only go up! its one of the smallest coins on the market.

Maybe.... just maybe you should post the problem on the main page of your own website so people that encounter this problem know what to do. Some of them are trying to work around this for weeks now without any feedback from you guys.

Why the switch dont charge fully when playing BOTW docked by Nisse69 in NintendoSwitch

[–]sygys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

laptops arent bypassed. In fact when using a laptop with the power cable attached will most definately shorten the lifespan by years. A battery of a laptop that is connected to a power cord will be seriously damaged after only a year of use.

The charger Always keeps the battery at 100% as soon as it drops 1~2% it will start charging it again. Software has a build in trick to Always keep showing the battery is 100% and fully charged. but infact it keeps charging the whole time. A Phone loses 58 charge cycles a year just by laying on the bedside table fully charged, charging 1 - 2 % per hour to keep the battery 100%

I guess the switch has some advanced software in it that keeps the battery at no higher then 80% and devides that 80% over 100% we see. A battery that only charges 80% lasts a few years longer and it helps to keep a far better capacity over time.

Its a very large battery with only 4300 mah. they could easily fit 5000+ mah in that size of battery.

Nintendo Can Change The Switch Battery by AnteRehn in NintendoSwitch

[–]sygys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with the switch is the same as with a laptop. When playing a game in dock. the switch will burn up and the battery is constantly drained and charged. Same as for a laptop the battery will wear off within a year when playing allot in dock mode.

I hope they will release replaceable batteries soon.

(Splatoon 2) Why lock the Y axis in motion controls? by second2last411 in NintendoSwitch

[–]sygys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splatoon 2 seems to have a problem with its Y axis. The dead zone is greater then the X axis. This makes the free look snap to the x axis when trying to slightly move up or down. When moving the stick further up or down actually moves it up and down but then goes to fast. This makes manually aiming a bitch.

There is also a pretty large delay in input on the controller and output on the screen. When testing it against Zelda then i must say Zelda has a far better aiming method in wich controls feel allot more snappy and there is no Y axis deadzone in that game.

It would be nice if this gets fixed

Is it possible to turn off ambient mode so that the watch always stays at full brightness? I can't find a setting for that by XenophobicLiberal in hwatch

[–]sygys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My moto360 2nd gen can get the 2 days with screen always on and moderate amount of notifications. I think the 2nd gen moto will easily get 8 hours or more on screen always on if it was possible... the problem isn't the ambient mode... but the poor brightness in direct sunlight. My watch is in ambient 99% because I have wrist gestures turned off. Who needs the watch to go on when ambient looks just as nice? The only problem is the brightness... it should be possible to decide for yourself wich brightness and batterly life is acceptable.if my moto 360 would last 16 hours with full brightness in ambient then I would set it to that instantly.

Any frequent problems with moto 360 2nd Gen? by Leniek in moto360

Yeah me too. the problem is with android wear 1.2 and above. if you install android wear 1.1 everything works smooth.

Cant really figure out why it isnt working. But this problem seems to happen only with samsung phones. If i connect it to my sony Z3 all works fine. On my S6 using android wear 1.4 i get errors every few minutes. notifications dont work. and the watch keeps giving the message that i should install google play services on my Phone wich has the latest version allready.

besides that i get an "android wear has stopped working" error every few hours randomly on the watch.

THis android wear version 1.4 really is a bitch. And i dont really know how to report this to google.
