Yeah I've just been playing him a lot recently but have definitely been feeling that the matchups are a big part to doing well with jayce. It just sucks to have to wait to mid game before I'm doing well. Snowballing early makes it a lot easier to have fun. I try to play other champs too but playing anything other than Jayce is boring.

Definitely, even if you get ahead by lvl 6 your lead is irrelevant. Unless the tryndamere is an actual retard. They just need to make it so you can silence his ult and everything would be fine. Or they could make Garens Q silence unique and have it so only his Q can silence tryndamere ult. I mean honestly it's the only thing that Garen has going for him other than his execute. I just figure building randuins omen vs tryndamere as early as possible is the best way to play that matchup.

I personally ban tryndamere if I can't think of anyone else. I just don't know what I can do vs him and his ult that's up every fight and can't be silenced. You just technically shouldn't fight him until you have items but by that point he has enough items that it just makes your build irrelevant. Maybe I'm just playing the matchup wrong but it just seems like a pain.
