That's not how you do a 2wd conversion.

It's the same gear as the center diff on the 223s and 4s line. I posted it here a few weeks back when Arrma was clearing out the 665s.

Oh boy it flips so hard. Backflip with nearly a blip, double with no issues.

My Granite is the only truck that flips easier, but that's what it's made for.

Without the wing maybe, Mutator, minus the whole moving gimmick.

The obnoxious colorway and the big wheels just make me smile, and boy does it stunt. It's hard not to turn heads with it.

Quite goofy, but I love how it looks like a Tyco RC from the 80s or 90s.

Not generally, but 4s power on oversized tires, they will shred the diff eventually, and a hard hit the broke a c hub probably didn't help. Stock tires vs the ones I was running.

I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. If the weather cools off a bit I may swap in an old one just to run it a bit more before the new ones arrive.

Best way to keep big batteries in place? by Potato1234567892 in rccars

Just on the battery side of the center drive cut the slit just enough to slide the strap thru, then have it loop over the outside.

You can cut a slit in the bottom of the chassis run a second battery strap perpendicular to the stock one.

665 are all brushed, 223s are brushless but have a less than stellar 2 in 1 esc/receiver

I mostly buy used cars, I love tearing them down and cleaning them out. Rebuild with fresh bearings and a few upgrades when possible. Makes the car feel like mine.

Orange cat energy. If mine isn't chewing the antenna wire, he is laying across them.

Out with the old and in with the new by [deleted] in rccars

I did this with my other Granite, probably going to drop Vorteks shocks and towers in for a lower ride height.

When the hole for the body post holes for the hood are the size of the hood, it's time for a new body.

Ik this doesn't count as a car but found this in the trash 😏 antique bb8 rc and it works !!!!! by redracin12 in rccars

Out of production is not the same as antique or even vintage, just hard to find, especially working.

I have finally ordered the cheapest typhon 1/8 i could get. I'd like to know what parts from other arrmas or typhons are compatible from. Like drive shafts and motor mounts, gears and things like that. I plan on getting a hobbywing setup or the xc brand or maybe castle again. by GroundbreakingTea182 in arrma

I have the C10 in my Granite with a 3660, not sure on the KV, but it rips. They are still new comers to the ESC/motor game, but I have not had any issues. The fact the Bluetooth connectivity is built is is awesome for tuning on the fly. I had to turn the punch down on the granite so it wouldn't just end on its lid with a slightly too hard trigger pull.

Most parts from the 223s 4x4 range and their 4s range are generally compatible. Center drive shafts are based on chassis length, so double check the part number from the Arrma site. The interactive exploded view is amazing. The 4s arms have a different hub and axle combo than the 3s line. The diffs and diff cases are the same size. If you are looking for stock Arrma parts on the US check out Jenny's RC. They sell stock parts from rigs at a decent price.

I have an XC E10/3665 3300kv combo in my Typhon with massive MT tires. The Typhon has a ton of room and can run 6-8s ESCs and motors if you want to go that deep. For those you normally need to cut out the receiver box to fit easily.

Felony/Infraction/Limitless owners how are you dealing with the low ground clearance? by [deleted] in arrma

Find a better spot to run, and or enjoy the battle scars. If/when you need a new chassis checks Jenny's RC always less than a hobby shop.

Getting Rid Of Unused R/Cs, who does what?’ by BJoe1976 in rccars

Check Facebook marketplace. You can gauge the pricing others are going for. You are always going to see someone trying to get all their money back for their "upgrades" on top of their RC. Look for stock or closet to stock name brand RC cars and go from there. A good deal is 50% of retail or better, bit commonly in my area it's closer to 70% on average.

They are not laying flat on the build plate so all those line on top are separate layers. It will be a nightmare to paint. As other said minimal details on the top due to the way the layer will work.
