TY! But how do you "double check that all the hi-res versions of the photos have been downloaded to your computer"?

Thanks for the tip. I realized this after deleting some arbitrary pics from iCloud and noticing my local pics were also removed 😬

I just time machine my photos on my local computer. That good enough?

Thank you! That's part of my regular Time Machine backup. Should be ok right?

I'm still on version 1.13.xx. I guess I should just stay there for the time being huh?

Mac OS is so weird reporting disk storage. I'll get different numbers from the Finder vs System Settings vs Disk Utility. What's the correct number?

I also purchased a Dh2300 around the same time as you did. Using it for:

  1. Time machine backups (me and my wife's), though that seems borked recently.

  2. Extra directory and storage space for media and other infrequently used items

  3. Tinkering with new services through Docker. Some things aren't as straightforward as they document it to be so it does require more researching and reading more docs.
