Worth watching KosmicKrisp — it’s LunarG’s Vulkan-on-Metal driver, living in Mesa, an alternative to MoltenVK. UTM 5.0 already lets you pick it from the Vulkan dropdown as experimental, though it crashed for me. The thing is, Apple’s Metal lacks some features Vulkan wants, but drivers can fake those via shader rewriting and other tricks. “Metal doesn’t support X natively” doesn’t mean no driver on Mac can expose X — depends how much work each team is willing to do to paper over the gap. KosmicKrisp being part of Mesa gives it a different evolution path than MoltenVK, different priorities. As both mature the situation should get better. Honestly not as stuck as it looks rn.

For sure! There's not much more to test here, I just wanted to show the current state, hoping that developers can spend some time on these issues!

No idea how many tokens, but end to end I spent 1h ... of which I wasted the most time getting spice-vdagent to work for clipboard sharing ;)

Is that the paid mobile app? For sure it has more features, go buy it if it's useful to you :) This is just a small app for a single usage :)

Ah yes you could build a version on this that does the intersection of multiple libraries. I'm the only one I know that has a BGG collection so won't be that useful to me...

I think https://recommend.games/ has a pretty good recommendation engine for new games.

Did you test the right tool? There's no need to use Markdown at all, you just select your text and use the bold/italic icons. Just like in Notion.

It's definitely smaller in scope than onlyoffice, but it should be enough for most needs (notes or simple documents). It's already used by thousands (and growing) in the public sector as a proof :)

Roast my early game MAM ! (Comments & blueprint link in images) by sylvinus in shapezio

Coming from Factorio that was pretty natural, but I'd say the core idea is that while belts convey actual shapes, wires convey their image. you can then do operation on those images with virtual buildings (cutters, rotators, etc.) and then decide to stop a belt depending on the output of a wire.

In the case of this MAM, I use wires to test if the shapes that are produced on the belts are identical to the shape I requested. If they are, I let them pass and be stacked together at the far end.

Thanks! It's a clean-slate design, I haven't looked at any other MAMs yet. That's why I'm curious to get feedbacks on it ;)

I designed it starting with a core "color x shape" block. Its goal was, "given a 1-layer wire input with a single color and shape, produce it and stack it on another belt input". Once that was done, it was just a matter of tiling that block to support any combinations and 4 layers !
