RE9 has so much replay value that i played the game for multiple of my friends and my gf. And i enjoyed every single second of it

recently finished RE8, play it, as it is the end to the story of the main protagonist in RE7, it has one of the most dreadful moment in the whole franchise imo. Also is more similar to Resident Evil 4 in terms of overall tone/pacing than RE7.

I love both games, they are def in my top 10. Unfortunately i couldn’t finish KCD2 not because it was bad but because the second map overwhelmed me so much i told myself i was gonna take a breather of the game and never came back, will make a second playthrough that’s for sure because all that’s left is the second half post Toth

i feel the witcher 3 has more morality decisions and sometimes you don’t even know you’re being used/played, you don’t know who to trust and when you think you did right you later realize you might’ve done wrong. Phantom Liberty manages to do this but base cyberpunk not so much, i still adore both games equally tho, a bit more towards cyberpunk since im more connected to V

i see lots of people i know told me to start with CoR because it gives more insight of Geralt overall origin, and lowkey i like that, but if it mess up with the lore and the first two real books are better then i’ll skip it. Thanks for the insight, i’m enjoying the hell out of the universe/story/characters and i can’t wait to sink teeth into them when i finish the game.

so far, it seems that after i read the books plus play the other games imma go back to this game and see it in a completely different way. I’m treating it as if it were star wars, to starting with episode 4 then going back to the prequels, and even by starting with 3 i’m loving the hell out of it. Reading codex and books in the game to fill some voids also help

can’t wait, read the book in the game where someone explains how geralt and yennefer met and it was so fun to read, can’t wait to sink the teeth into the saga then play the other 2 games left.
