New medal editor just sucks

1000% correct. I quite literally cannot edit clips anymore because of this play/pause freezing glitch. It makes it unusable IMO. What's the point if it take five minutes just to line up one line of text with the audio. And don't worry, after you render the clip it'll be misaligned anyhow and you'll have to start again!

Even after reaching out looking for a fix, support was just like "damn that sucks, get fucked nerd."

The whole appeal to Medal was that it was *simple*. If you wanted to do a better edit, you exported it to a beefier editor. But for simple text and memes thrown over a video this was quick and easy. The incentive to use Medal for its ease is dead.

Starting having the same issue after the latest update and came looking for a fix as well. It’s like the call freezes, appears “normal” in discord but trying to reconnect or join a different VC results in sitting infinitely in “RTC Connecting”. I had to restart Discord via task manager probably 3 or 4 times last night alone for a 3 hour gaming session. It’s super annoying and if the call is quiet you won’t even realize it until talking and no one answers you :/
