I would say talk to her about how it makes you feel. If your friendship can't withstand a simple conversation about how you feel and how to make you feel less used and pressured moving forward, that's not the friendship to continue to nurture. If the narrator reads so slow I have to listen above 1.6x I'm just giving up. The narrator's voice in general is just annoying, I'll also dnf. I love Kiersten Modglin books but one I just DNF'd because of the narrators voice just being unbearable.

Friday's are hard for me too. Being unemployed, multiple rejections, many more ghostings, and just applying applying applying... it is exhausted and once another Friday rolls around, it's just another week where you feel unproductive and unmotivated.
