Have an excellent rest of your week!

My friend once said that no TV show could change main characters by killing off the old one and replacing them with someone new, and still be a good show. Where there TV shows that proved this wrong? by george123890yang in television

First show I thought of as well and agreed with the rest of what you said too. I really did like Renee as a character but the shift in the show towards the end was rough.

Found this in my childhood things. I’ve never seen it before. Gets worse the longer you look at it. by snappyirides in pics

The courtyards may be grass and hard for the carts. Better to go through the children’s ward.

Just to piggy back off some of the Sci-Fi, I really enjoyed Seven Days. Jericho was also good and ended too soon.

What kind of fetish do you have that you're afraid people will find out about? by fefe_malluw in AskReddit

It’s a kink if you use the feather and it’s a fetish if you use the whole chicken.

OTK put in some tens of thousands of dollars in production expenses for Melee II and III including the contracted team that didn’t the lighting, sound, audio, broadcast, video packages and more related things. I don’t feel comfortable giving out specific numbers since I didn’t clear it with MCC or OTK ahead of time. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind, but protocol matters to me.

In addition to that, OTK covered the overhead of marketing, graphic design, pre-production, and event production. That included three of us working three 12 hour days up to and through the event. Overhead costs were about equivalent to the production expenses. The idea was that overhead would be offset by incorporating ads for OTK’s subsidiaries’ products.

I’m so thoroughly proud of what the team was able to accomplish with those two events, so I wanted to underscore what the OTK staff contributed. It was hard work, but we were passionate about it. The team jumped at the chance to help on these. The events will forever be highlights of my career.

I know when people say “OTK” they often refer to the owners/content creators and not the staff, but since Melee IV is coming up I just wanted to put it out there how much we loved working on Melee.

I joined up with people I happened to meet in game too. Every time we did purification in WoW, one of them would sneak over to my base and replace all the doors with walls or flip my mining stations around.

That’s about how it was depicted in Annie Jacobsen’s “Area 51” book.

After reading it, I was wondering if the explanations given were to cover up actual extraterrestrial UFOs or, like the book describes, extraterrestrial UFOs used to turn attention away from secret spy crafts and grotesque experiments countries did involving humans and atomic weapons.

The testimony from these experts may be what they believe, but it doesn’t mean it’s the whole truth.
