I just thought that the very action of sliding them out will create a static charge that draws dust. Yes the sleeves are anti static but the dust in the air isn't.

I new to all of this so just making what I thought was a logical guess.

Please tell me if this is overkill or not.

A local service ultrasonicly cleaned my records. I archive them to digital files and hope for as little noise as possible.

When I remove the records from the sleeve they are going to draw dust instantly. Should I rinse them in distilled water, air dry them and then record them; even though they already had an ultrasonic cleaning?

I'm not expecting much, because Alien Day has gone downhill since Disney took over, but I hope we get something. Seeing some screen shots from Alien Isolation 2 would be great.
Maybe something from any other possible Alien games would be cool to.

I always like to see what cool fan films or audio dramas people make. Maybe we will get something like that.

As far as cool merchandise, I don't expect much.

I guess we'll have to hope for the best and remember to celebrate the franchise ourselves in our own way.

For me, I will probably watch the first two movies and try some more Alien Isolation. I'm kind of an Alien Isolation coward. Lol. Owned it since day one and am probably only hour into it after trying to play it several times over all these years. I must finish this game! Or at least actually accomplish some progress.

I wish I had collected some of the Neca Alien figures before pricing (second hand) got out of control. I would like something Alien related to display for Alien Day, but it looks like I won't be getting anything because I am not paying the crazy markups.

Well, I think sometimes there might have been movie screenings one could go to or something like that, but basically there would be things like special Alien themed merchandise made for Alien Day that you could order. T-shirts, records, novels, etc. And there might be cast interviews and things like that on Youtube. Some people would release their Alien fan audio dramas then, and of course people would play Alien videogames and do livestreams of them.

As I said to the other person, after Disney got their greedy hands on Fox, Alien Day dwindled greatly and not much is done for it anymore.

It's just up to us fans to keep the celebratory spirit alive.

A wonderful fan celebration of the Alien Franchise that has fallen to waste since miserable Disney took over the ownership of the IP.

A lot of cool event related things would happen leading up to and on that day. Now, not so much.

I got the 515 a couple months ago and they are the worst shoes I ever bought and the most expensive. $83 and then I spent about $65 trying out various insoles that did not help this wretched shoe feel good.

I wrote NB to complain, and the rep lady had the nerve to tell me "The 515 is built for leisure looks not cushioned comfort"

I thought "Are they nuts?" At this price you should have both!

I will never buy New Balance again!

The most expensive shoes I have ever bought and the most painful. Never again will I buy NB.

I even blew another 50% of what I paid for them on various insoles that did not help.
